This architecturally gorgeous home of stone and wood was phenomenal!Our view was the rainforest canopy and we were fed by our outstanding chef Ronald, pampered by Katrina . concierge Mefi arranged excursions to beautiful waterfalls and the Manuel Antonio National park and off shore fishing that fed our family of 11 with grouper and snapper. But the real surprise was having 20 or more cute squirrel monkeys visit and entertain the grandchildren, followed by flights of 5 beautiful scarlet macaws daily, iguanas and capuchin monkeys as well. Then we looked out back from a balcony to see a sloth slowly climbing a tree! And so much more… vacation of a lifetime.!

VILLA CELAJE is everything that is promised and more! The luxury, comfort, and views are second to none. Camilo, the concierge made sure everything was taken care of from the time of booking until we were home. He made sure we had everything we wanted and needed. Chef Ronald was amazing!! When they say you will want to take him home, they are so right! We let him surprise us almost every meal. They were all first class and delicious! We all even loved visiting with him throughout our stay. We had some massages set up by Camilo that was also perfect! Katherine the house cleaner was always so willing to help out and had a smile on her face. This definitely ranks as one of the best vacations we have taken. If you want a stress free, relaxing vacation, this is the way to go. You don’t even have to figure out what’s for dinner!! Thank you, Camilo, Ronald, and Katherine for an unforgettable vacation! This luxurious property was perfect for our reunion of 8 couples. The property was beautiful and pristine. Everyone had their own private suite. The sunsets each evening were magical. The resident Maquas and white face monkeys kept us entertained and laughing. Chef Ronald was the best. He asked for our input for both breakfast and dinner but we pretty much let him decide what to fix for us. He never let us down. The food was fabulous. Make sure that you try the banana pancakes. His wife Christine was there to help him most nights. She was wonderful. We enjoyed visiting with them both. I can not say enough about Mefi our concierge. He answered our every question before and after our arrival. He set up tours for our group before we arrived, he called taxis for us daily, he arranged for chairs and umbrellas at the beach and arranged for transportation to and from the airports. He checked in with us daily. We met Sabrina when we checked it to the property. She was so nice and very helpful. When we mentioned to her the second day that the coffee pot was too small, there was a larger coffee pot there the next day. We enjoyed a half day at the marina, with its shopping and restaurants. We had a private guided tour of Manuel Antonio National Park. Our guide was very knowledgeable but we went on a Sunday so the park was very busy. It would be best to do this tour during a week day. Our catamaran daytime trip was very relaxing and fun. We have rented several homes in this area of Costa Rica. This is by far the most beautiful, best maintained and best managed property that we have ever rented. Can’t wait to come back.

My wife and I recently returned from delightful vacation at Villa Celaje with a large group of friends. Sabrina and her team did a wonderful job and made our trip to Manuel Antonio all the more enjoyable by looking after all of our needs large and small. This beautiful facility exceeded our expectations. A special thanks to Chef Ronald who amazed us with his culinary skills and made it completely unnecessary to eat anywhere else! his house/villa exceeded our expectations. Beautiful house with the most spectacular ocean views and sunsets. House co-ordinator Sabrina was extremely helpful in pre planning arrangements and available daily to help with any of our needs. Chef Ronald and his staff cooked delicious meals daily, accepted any requests and was flexible with timing. We very much enjoyed his company, enjoyed learning from him and all 16 of us in our group wanted to bring him home with us. Our house cleaner Catherine was professional and kept the entire house perfectly clean.

The villa has gorgeous views to enjoy sunrises and sunsets and its location allowed us to enjoy the wildlife: parrots and other birds, monkeys, butterflies. Our large group was more than comfortable in the large, well decorated spaces. What really made our stay special were the staff who went out of their way to ensure our requests were met and were super pleasant to interact with. The meals prepared by Chef Ronald and his team were delicious. Sabrina was always reachable and extremely helpful in ensuring we made the most of our stay and outings. The maintenace crew kept everything spotless without being intrusive. Villa Celaje is a great vacation home, perfect for a large group/family.

This place is beautiful. The house is clean, well decorated, property well maintained and very well staffed. Chef Roland made us the most incredible meals and Sabrina our concierge went above and beyond to help with just about everything. The house was a short taxi ride to towns, marina, beaches and attractions. This property is an animal lovers paradise, we saw monkey's, macaws, toucans, iguana's, the most fascinating insects and more . This house exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend staying here.

We spent 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year's with our family of 12 and loved this home. Sabrina worked with us for 16 months ahead of our trip and was wonderful to work with. She led us through all the possible excursions and let us know which ones fit our family. The home gave us a bedroom and bath for each of our 6 grandchildren, a real plus. The pool area was great and we were greeted the first week with monkeys checking us out. The scarlet macaws and toucans were a spectacular sight as well. Chef Ronald tailored our meals to meet our dietary restrictions and every meal was a true joy. Costa Rican rice and beans and mahi mahi were our favorites. Of all the excursions I enjoyed the bird watching trip the most even though it was a 5am departure! I highly recommend this lovely property.
